With chickens that is...
We picked up 8 new chicks from Mt. Healthy Hatchery this morning. Each one is a different breed so we should have quite a colorful flock come Summertime. The older hens in the flock are starting to slow down in their egg production so we figured it was time to bring in some new ones in order to keep an adequate supply of fresh eggs. (Consider this an open invitation for all-you-can-eat Chicken Soup party this Fall!)

| Looking in you can see the heat lamp to keep them warm during these still cold, late-Winter days. It didn't take them long to find the food and water. |
